Oh hello there!
As you may have noticed, I've been on a little bit of a hiatus. The Little Lion, my mum and moi escaped down the coast to spend time with some of my favourite relatives. Although the weather went from gorgeous to downright freezing for quite a bit of the time we were there, it didn't stop us from hitting some of the adorable seaside villages on the Great Ocean Road, and I may have done a fair bit of damage at Westfield... hello Forever New!
I immersed myself fully in the holiday spirit while I was away, and told myself that calories don't count while not on my home turf. That's right, isn't it? Well, I lived by that rule and indulged in quite a few cheese and biscuits platters and a wine or two... or three or maybe ten...
Anyhoo, I've now noticed that those calories magically appear once you're home, so it's time to work my butt off to get myself into tip top shape for my sisters wedding in less than TWO months. Eep!
I've got the ball rolling and gone for my run this morning, and I'm planning a light weight session this afternoon. The fridge has been cleaned out and I have all my faves- blueberries, yoghurt, strawberries and banana ready for lunch.
It's going to be a little hard to get started, but I'm hoping that after three days I'll be fully back in the swing of things. Time to focus, the countdown is on!
