A few days ago I was having a leisurely stroll around the shops with my mum and the Little Lion where we wandered into Jeanswest. I wasn't looking for anything is particular, maybe a couple of new tops for work since the warmer months are now here, but as soon as I saw it, I fell in love.
It had to be mine.
A scarf in the most gorgeous watermelon hue, silver thread and SEQUINS! Done. It now has a home hanging up on the scarf hooks in my bedroom, where that glimmer of pink makes me smile every time I see it.
The sun was shining brightly yesterday, so I thought it was the perfect time to wear it. I received so many compliments for it, and it was the perfect way to lift the palette of neutrals I normally wear. An oversized taupe top, skinny jeans, tan boots, silver accessories and watermelon lipgloss to match the scarf and I was done. Plus, it does all sorts of amazing things for your skin tone. Hello? We have a winner!
I'm now on a mission to find a top in the exact shade of pink. It's my new fave colour, along with coral. How can they make you anything but happy?
