Time to take my Vitamin Me!

So.. ahem.

Guess where I will be this evening?

Go on, guess.

No, not freezing my arse off, huddled under the blanket on my couch. No, not watching a movie, or visiting friends. No, I won't even be in the state of Victoria. 

I'll be in the ohsoawesome slice of paradise town Port Douglas! Helloooooo sunny Queensland, how much I've looked forward to stepping foot on your beloved soil again!

Remember the animation I did for the Nuffnang and Tourism Queensland Vitamin Me competition I created? Well, after months of emailing back and forward with the lovely Celeste I'm finally collecting my prize and we're about to embark on the awesome holiday itinerary she has created for us. I'm thanking my future self that she had the foresight to take this prize in the depths of Winter as she thought that my current self would appreciate more than anything to head off to some sunshine for a week. (Did that make sense?)

I wanted an adventure/adrenaline holiday and I got it. Cue sailing on a catamaran, snorkeling, jungle canopy surfing, quad biking and hiking. I'm not a complete fool though, I have ensured that spa treatments and wine will be had at the Daintree Eco Lodge and Spa.

Although there won't be that much happening on the blog while I'm away, you can be sure I'll be instgramming my heart out and whipping up a blogging storm when I get back. Oh, and I should definitely throw in a huge thank you to my mum for watching the Little Lion for us for the week. You are a rock star. 

Is it weird that one of the things I'm looking forward to the most is the breakfast buffet at the Daintree Eco Spa and Lodge?
