I'm always partial to having a bit of a sticky beak when it comes to other bloggers favourite products, so I thought I'd share a few of mine that I've been loving this past couple of months. So what have I found? Come on... come and have a sticky beak at mine!
I'd been searching everywhere for a handwash to put in our ensuite that served two purposes- that not only smelt good but looked good too. Seriously, do you know how hard it was for me to find that combination? Attention handwash companies and designers- there's a gap in the market and it's for attractive handwash products!
Anyhoo, I finally discovered this gorgeous handwash by The Boutique in Chemist Warehouse. Not only is the packaging super cute, but the scent of fig and cedar is a delight.
My lovely friend Carlie bought me this lipgloss for my birthday, and not only do I love the whole shimmery effect and the gorgeous petal pink colour, but the wand on this little sucker lights up too. Perfect for when you're out at night and need to reapply... and you can use the little mirror on the side to see your reflection if you need. Plus, it tastes delish. Bonus points!
Cooler months means warming up with hot drinks, and last year mum introduced me to this vanilla Chai tea by Arkadia. This drink is best served when you're curled up on the couch wearing PJ's, bed socks and watching one of your favourite TV shows. Sooo smooth and creamy.. and perfect with a piece of dark chocolate!
In Februray I bit the bullet and decided to get the Keratin Straightening treatment on my hair. Unfortunately it didn't work, but the salon owners redid it for me free when they received a new batch a couple of weeks ago. Instead of a frizzy curly mess I now soft waves which I absolutely luuuuurve. I always felt like I should have been born near the ocean, and now I can embrace my beach chick hair. I'm hoping it stays like this for a while, not having to straighten every day is BLISS!
And, just to give a 'lil extra smoothness to my Keratin Straightened hair, after blow drying it I slick a few drops of this serum on my waves to eliminate any frizz that may have appeared. This stuff lasts for an eternity, and is has a gorgeous fresh berry fruity Summertime smell. It's also perfect for bleached blondes like me, as it also brightens and repairs. Win win!
I must be going through a bit of a pink phase lately.. purely unintentional but it is my colour of choice when it comes to accessories at the moment. Must be spilling into other areas of my life!
