Sun, Sea and Surfed Out.
I'm feeling completely bleary eyed and all sorts of bleh right now, having awoken at the evil time of 4:45am to start the day and catch my first out of three flights home. I'm half craving something with caffeine to get me going, but I don't know whether I have the energy to move my arse from the chair I've slumped into in the departures lounge at Mackay airport.
I'm not going to go into a detailed post about my Easter on Hamilton Island until I'm more coherent and have the photos to back my stories up, but lets just say the last few days the girls and I played hard, making the most of every day we were there. Trust me, we even have the war wounds to show for it. In fact, I've just discovered another bruise on my shin. There was a bit of everything including bunny tails, parasailing, raspberry brownie cocktails and 'duvets' under the stars. Confused? Don't worry, I think I just confused myself with that last sentence.
Hamilton Island, you've been awesome. Girls, you were even more amazing. My little sis Lan, I hope you had the best Hen's weekend you could imagine.
Now, where's that caffeine hit I desperately need?
