Hair Dramas.

Once upon a time I had thick, curly brown hair. Hair that cascaded down my back and formed multitudes of ringlets. Of course, we all want what we don't have, and after bemoaning and whining constantly about my unruly hair (with the stubborn cow lick) for years, I began straightening it when I hit year 11.

This took some major effort. 1997 happened to be before the time of one of the world's wonders, the miraculous GHD, so it took me close to an hour each time to straighten it with a blow dryer. How my arms would burn! Plus, I then had to avoid rain at all cost, otherwise it would double in size and I'd resemble something akin to Coco the Clown.

Since having Carter, I decided to make a major change from dark chocolate brown to blonde which took roughly 6 months. I absolutely love it and continue to straighten it twice a week, but I've discovered that my constant abuse of my poor hair has resulted in breakage and has now made it quite thin. Nooooooooooooooooo!

I've now decided to find some clip in extensions to give some volume when I go out, and I'm also going to cough up for a Keratin straightening treatment as well to give it a rest from the GHD. Now, my question is...

Where's the best place I can get clip in hair extensions online? And, if you've had the Keratin treatment, was it worth it?

  1. Love the picture, and it reminds me of the days when I had red hair...
On me however it did not look half as good...

    Have a great day:)

  2. What was the treatment Danielle had done? Was it keratin? It looked good and she said it was good on her hair as well. I can't imagine you with brown hair or curly hair! Blonde definately suits you!

  3. GIO- Haha, I just wish I looked as striking as her!

Katie, I think hers was different, but it isn't available here. If you look back to 2009 you'll see me with brown hair. I can't imagine myself ever going back!
