Oh my goodness. I now have a new addiction. I've been researching house stuff frantically now that we're moving in around FOUR WEEKS (eek!) and I've been saving lots of images to my laptop of interior styles and designs that have tickled my fancy.
Anyway, after browsing through many sites, I found
Houzz. Love it, with a capital L. Over 35,000 photos all categorized in particular styles, then rooms, even down to objects. And, you can save all the photos you love into ideabooks. If you're a trying to find inspiration for your house, then this site is your saviour.

In other random stuff, I've been checking out daycare options now that mum will be moving. Not sure how I feel about this... I've been telling myself that it will be fine, it's only two days and Carter will love the interaction with kids his own age. I've planned to start him while I'm on school holidays, so I can sit in there with him for a bit, and initially make the days short. I think it will be easier for both Carter and myself if we do it that way.
(And that way, if I'm a blubbering mess when I drop him off, I'll only be heading home and not to work!)I need to start thinking about his birthday party too, but this will just be a small event. The 24th of July is racing up quite quickly. Only immediate family, grandparents and four close friends for lunch or afternoon tea. A safari theme of course, as he's my little leo lion ;)

ReplyDeleteWe're moving into mum and dad's place while they're in Perth for 2 years, selling this place and building another. It is exciting, but very overwhelming!
