Random little images that I quite like...

Ugh. I'm absolutely EXHAUSTED. Third day back at school, first day for students, and it's been waaaaay too full on. Four on days are just not cool.
So cute! I need to buy some funky coffee mugs.
I'm currently attempting to overcome the shock to the system that is... being back at WORK. New format this year, and a totally different feel. Oh God, I'm exhausted already...
Another little thing I found at Etsy that I adore-
I've been looking at Etsy more and more recently, thinking, surely I could start creating things to sell on there? Purses, bags, jewelry, paintings etc.. things that I'd love to start dabbling and experimenting with. And Lan, I know we haven't talked about this (but you'll be reading it!), I'm sure that you might want to get involved in this with me!

Australia Day, at Keezy's house!

I begun this patchwork quilt last Summer, then forgot all about it once work begun! So, I pulled it out again in the hopes of completing it before this winter. I've chosen fabrics that aren't traditionally used in quilting- silks, satins, velvet, suede, etc. Will be interesting to see how it turns out.
1979 - 2008So talented. So sad.
Etsy is my new favourite website to browse. It's like Ebay, but full of handmade jewelry, paper, vintage clothes, etc. I can spend hours on the 'pounce' feature, finding precious little treasures! Today I bought this gorgeous little pendant:
Ooooh, this will be bad for thy credit card...
Had a massage and steam room treatment today, to try and alleviate the muscle pain and tension in my neck and shoulders.... ah, BLISS! I closed my eyes and listened to the soft music playing in the background, and pretended I was back at the Healing Waters Day Spa in the Daintree (although the sound of cars tended to ruin the effect a little!)I will definitely take Veronica's advice and come back monthly, as the remedial massages are hurting a little less each time. Must be working :)
Very excited.. will have to go grab it today!!

Notes & tips
- Tip: Most brownies are best eaten the day after they are made.
LOVE these mini chests. Maybe for the future art studio/study?

The first time I've noticed that our eyes are the same colour!

I can just see my Elemis products stocked in there nicely.

Lush, very special and very spoilt.. my surprise honeymoon present from Deon- the Elemis Day and Night Spa gift package. Divine.
On our honeymoon, we found Paradise. Although Sea Temple Resort in Port Douglas was awesome, our last few days at Silky Oaks Lodge in the middle of the Daintree was unlike anything I had experienced previously. Hidden in the middle of the rainforest, was an oasis.
Imagine waking up to the sound of the Mossman river flowing by, the sight of Ulysses butterflies floating past as you have breakfast in an open air restaurant.. truly amazing. I want to go back!!
I did have a blog previously, but do you think I can remember the username and password now? Hmm, nope, hence the reason for creating this one.Becoming Mrs Blaby was a huge end to 2007, and 2008 has has begun beautifully by commencing with a 2 week honeymoon in North Queensland. Hit a bit of a low after returning, but according to mum, that's all to be expected! I simply hung around the house, thinking, is that all there is?? 18 months of stress and planning over so soon?
New projects on the go now, namely trying to plan a new house. Difficult, annoying and not as much fun as I'd envisioned it to be.. but I'm hoping once we decide on a style, things will begin falling into place.
